We want to create the best possible environment for the competitive intelligence and benchmarking activities of our users. For this purpose, we have set ambitious goals and published our roadmap - full of projects and challenges - last year: the entire GOBENCH interface will get a new, state-of-the-art design with a special focus on usability.
We develop not only for our customers, but also together with them: In the last few months, we have received a lot of feedback, many ideas and many suggestions that have been incorporated into the conceptual design of GOBENCH. That's why we want to keep you up to date on the current status, development progress and release schedule as well as continue to involve you as much as possible in the idea and development process.
The modernization of our benchmarking software finally starts this year with our major release "GOBENCH 2.0". In one of our earlier posts "Design & Usability: GOBENCH 2.0", we already published details about the new GOBENCH release, its benefits and an overview of the new features.
Beta phase about to begin
A lot has happened since then: much time, effort and development work has gone into the new interface and the functional improvements of our software. Thus, we were able to reach yet another milestone: The first programming phase has been completed successfully. Final internal test cycles as well as minor corrections and adjustments will follow until the GOBENCH 2.0 beta phase will start as planned in September.
The major release will be made available for our first pilot customers, who can then put the beta version of GOBENCH 2.0 through its paces and get to know the new interface in their own customer-made test environment.
Customer feedback from this stage is extremely important to us: comments, ideas and suggestions for improvement from our users will be considered in order to optimize and adapt the final version before the official launch of GOBENCH 2.0 at the end of this year.
Get to know GOBENCH 2.0 in our test arena
In addition to the individual test environment for our pilot customers, we would of course like to give all interested parties the opportunity to try out GOBENCH 2.0 and to get a feel for the new design and new functionalities. For this purpose, we will soon update our own test arena to the GOBENCH 2.0 version and thus provide a test environment for everyone.
